The Internet Campus is partnering with Operation Kindness to show appreciation for our troops! Here's how you can participate:

    1. Mail in a support letter for a soldier that is deployed overseas. Address the letter "Dear Soldier," and give them words of encouragement.

    2. Send in financial contributions to Operation Kindness. A member of the Donations Team will use the money to purchase comfort items to be shipped over to the troops. Make the check payable to McLean Bible Church and write "Operation Kindness" in the memo line.

    3. If you have any specific Bibles, books, CDs, tracts or sermons you would like to have shipped over, please send them into the church and we will be sure they make it to the troops.

Mail any or all of these things to McLean Bible Church c/o the Internet Campus at 8925 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22124.

We hope that you will join us in supporting our troops this 4th of July weekend!

On Saturday, June 14, we will be offering the SHAPE Workshop online! This is an all-campus event for MBC and Frontline, and will involve several interactive components for those attending online. If you are unfamiliar with what SHAPE is all about, here is a quick explanation:

"SHAPE will be a day of discovering how God has gifted you and how your personality and unique experiences can be used for His glory....Two weeks prior to the workshop, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Your responses will be electronically analyzed, and a profile package will be produced that will be used extensively during the workshop."

The workshop begins at 9 AM EST and there is a cost of $20 to participate. The last day to sign up is June 11.

We're excited to announce that this month will include another "first" for the Internet Campus. We will be broadcasting baptisms live on Sunday, May 18. This will be for those from McLean Bible Church and Frontline.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, have not been baptized and can make it to McLean Bible Church at 6:30 PM EST Sunday, May 18, we invite and encourage you to come get baptized! We will stream the baptisms live online, allowing family and friends from all over the world to witness your profession of faith. You will need to complete a Baptism class, which can be administered online via the Internet Campus (contact bbuckner@mcleanbible.org).

Even if you are not getting baptized, we still encourage you to log onto the Frontline Internet Campus to take part in the work God is doing in the lives of those who will be.

Finding a great segway into a conversation about your faith can be tough. We've got two different ways to hopefully increase your opportunities to "give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." -1 Peter 3:15.

First, we've printed thousands of Internet Campus cards to hand out in order to encourage your friends, family and coworkers to check us out online. We'd love to offer some of them to you wherever you are. These can be picked up in the main lobby of the McLean Bible Church Tysons Campus, or can be mailed to you if you live outside of the DC area. If you'd like them to be mailed to you, just shoot me an email with your physical address, how many cards you'd like and whether you attend McLean Bible Church or Frontline.

As a community, we've been picking up a lot of steam in the past three months, with four online outreaches now under our belt. So far we've partnered with Notasermon.org to minister to secular Washingtonians, XXXChurch.com to confront the dangers of internet pornography and The Gathering to reach out to college students. We've also brought MBC and Frontline together for our online Internet Blitz to promote the Internet Campus.

This Saturday, April 12, we will be partnering with Frontline on a physical outreach to evangelize to those at the Cherry Blossom Festival. The teams will be handing out Internet Campus promo cards and bottles of water at metro stops while building relationships with the community. This is a great opportunity to serve and share your faith at once.
